A
pitch black blanket covered the jungle,
As
the nocturne set in.
Darkness
inundated the whole landscape,
Boosting
of its win.
The
branches bent and the leaves crouched.
Like
an ominous fantasy;
Through
the darkness I kept on moving,
On
an endless odyssey.
Suddenly
the shriek of an owl was heard,
From
the canopy afar.
As
if it guided me through the dark,
Past
the nebula and stars.
Such
an anodyne music it was
To
a heart full of fright.
I
followed the sound like a man blindfolded,
To
end the sinister plight.
Is
there anybody to lend me a hand,
Beyond
the somber arbour?
To
help me stop the déjà vu,
To
help me escape the bower.
